Table pagination fixes for Paged.js, used to print prescriptions and bills.
Eka's fork of Paged.js 0.4.3. Fixes tables that lost rows, dropped their header on continued pages, or cut the document short after a tall row. Includes a geometry-based regression suite run in Chromium.
What we fixed
- Table headers and column widths repeat on every continued page. Repeat <thead> and <colgroup> on every continued page.
- A row taller than a page no longer stops the rest of the document printing. Treat break-inside: avoid as a preference when nothing else fits.
- Sub-pixel cell padding no longer pushes a row out of print. Break a table row whose cell padding overhangs the page by a sub-pixel.
- Each page is re-checked after its overflow is removed. Re-check the page after removing its overflow.
- Layout always makes progress instead of stalling. Always make progress: cut by measurement as a last resort.
